Description:
North Main Line - RPM The purpose of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Program is to expand capacity to meet growing ridership demand; reduce travel times; improve access to job markets and destinations; better utilize existing transit infrastructure; bring the existing infrastructure to a state of good repair; and improve access to the system for patrons with disabilities.

Current Status
Caisson drilling operations and precast span erection continues for the Lawrence to Bryn Mawr Modernization (LBMM). The new Winona Relay Room foundations and slab were poured with electrical infrastructure work in progress. The Red‐Purple Bypass (RPB) portion continued with substructures and deck construction in progress. The initial commissioning work for the Kenmore Relay House began. Wayside communications and signal infrastructure installation continues.
