Description
This dial-a-ride service will operate weekdays in Antioch, Avon, Grant, and Lake Villa townships. A portion of the service will be a flexible route connecting three Metra stations on the NCS Line and Milwaukee District - North Line with residential areas to offer greater access to employment opportunities primarily for individuals with limited mobility and other transit dependent populations. The service expanded its boundaries in December 2012 to include Waconda and Fremont Townships. Lake County implemented the service January 11, 2010.

Description
Funding for this project will support a volunteer driver program supplementing the services offered by Hanover Township's Dial-A-Bus program. Volunteer drivers utilizing their own vehicles will provide the door-to-door service. Local share will be provided with transportation development credits, formerly known as toll credits.

Description

This program provides transportation and mobility management services for persons with disabilities, the elderly and low-income individuals residing in eastern Will County townships. The program is an outgrowth of the county's coordinated paratransit plan funded through the RTA's Subregional Planning program. The RTA Board approved the 2011 Program of Projects at its November 16, 2011 meeting. Grant agreements have been executed. By agreement with Washington Township this project has taken on the management responsibilities for grants initially awarded to Washington Township. As a result of this agreement an additional $32,970 in federal funding has been added to this project. Will County formed the Paratransit Council that will help to set policy for the project. This program provides transportation and mobility services seniors and individuals with disabilities residing in eastern Will County townships.

Description
Pace will construct up to 150 concrete pads and ancillary connections to accessible paths at Pace bus stops throughout their service area. The pads would be located against a raised curb to facilitate "level boarding" from the pad to the buses bottom stop or provide a landing area for a wheelchair lift. This project is matched with Transportation Development Credits.
Current Activities
Pace, from an initial list of 191 candidate stops, has completed improvements at 65 locations. At the end of March 2013, the last series of improvements were made at: 162nd/Woodlawn, SW, South Holland; Cermak at Boeger, NE, Westchester; Cermak at Boeger, SW, Westchester; Randall Rd at Wilson St, SB, Batavia (shelter installation); Halsted St at 171st St, South Holland (shelter installation); and 159th at Pulaski, NW, Markham. The project is complete.

Description

This project will integrate and coordinate the McHenry County Transit Pilot Program, the City of Crystal Lake Dial-a-Ride, the City of McHenry Dial-a-Ride, and the City of Woodstock Dial-a-Ride and initiate services for seniors and the disabled in Greenwood Township. Tracking and automated dispatching software will be used to help manage the available fleet.

Description
This dial-a-ride service expanded from a two day a week operation to five days a week. The service provides general purpose transportation within Washington Township and medical trips beyond the Township. In addition to providing increased service for the disabled and senior populations, eligible participants are able to obtain same day service.

Description

The Ride in Kane program is now entering its third year of operation. This program coordinates paratransit services in Kane County into a centralized system that optimizes transportation resources for older adults, persons with disabilities, and low-income individuals. Currently, there are 17 private, non-profit organizations and local units of government participating in the program. Approximately 100,000 trips were provided through this program in 2009.

Description
This project will provide reverse commute employment transportation for low-income persons who have criminal records and are residing in Cook County. The daily service, to be operated by a private contractor, will cover three employment shifts. Individuals will be transported to and from five designated pick-up points in the City of Chicago to employers located in the suburbs. The designated pick-up points may all be accessed through CTA.
Current Activities
The grant contract with the Safer Foundation was executed effective August 11, 2010. Funds for this service were exhausted in August 2011. In its last year of funding the project averaged 153 trips per month. The Safer Foundation is continuing the service with its own resources. This project is complete.

Description
The Ride DuPage to Work is a service of the Ride DuPage system designed to enable persons with disabilities greater opportunities to obtain and maintain employment through more affordable transportation.
Current Activities
DuPage Transportation to Work, initially funded with the 2006 program, was implemented March 1, 2008. DuPage County became the grantee for the project in 2010. Prior to that Pace served as the project grantee. The service provided 2,137 trips in June 2014. This project is complete.

Description

The WTW program provides small, short-term, low-interest loans to low-income families for the purpose of purchasing or repairing a car to get to work, childcare, and to pursue educational or job training opportunities. The project funding will be used to support operating costs associated with client screening and case management, and for a small loan guarantee pool. This project will replicate other JARC projects that have been successfully implemented in other parts of the country.

Current Activities

The Salvation Army launched the Ways to Work project on September 26, 2011. In June 2013, 296 individuals have attended personal finance education classes and 111 loans have been approved. This project is complete.
